Sources of Information & Works Cited throughout this website domain

Here is where you can find information, works cited, and sources of information for the content on this website and material covered in my therapy plans and health and wellness coaching program. The sources on the following pages are also material I have studied throughout my life.

I have separate pages for videos and websites, and wish to keep the information on these pages separate from the other sources.

The categorized pages of curated works are updated regularly. In an effort to break up the monotony of a long document, I have created several pages under different categories for ease in navigation. In it’s entirety, when it is completed, the pages will be quite long but they will be thorough and comprehensive.

On each page, the categories are divided by topic or subject area, then by professional development books, educational books, self-help books, workbooks for clients, journal articles, e-zine articles, and blogs. Priority of importance is given to peer reviewed published research from top tier journals over e-zines and blogs.

As always, I am open to review any books, journals, articles, websites, or videos you wish to recommend.

Types of Therapy

There are hundreds of different models of therapy available to help treat the many unique mental health conditions that bring people into therapy. Some of these therapy models and theories have been widely used and studied in the professional field, while others may be lesser known or emerging to meet the needs of specific populations. As a therapist, I chose which theories and therapy practices I wished to incorporate into my practice and gained adequate training to use them effectively. It is common for therapists to utilize more than one type of therapy in their counseling practice. I have chosen to integrate cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual evidence based “best practices” into my approach to therapy.
